The Sacred Flame is a flaming sacred heart earring handcrafted at the De Petra Atelier in Houston — where Lorena Medinilla has spent 18 years creating wearable art carried by Anthropologie, Free People, and the Museum of Fine Arts Houston.

A neon green gemstone top leads into a glittered sacred heart crown, then into the heart itself — Italian neon blue and green leather, layered with a faceted labradorite stone that shifts from grey to deep blue-green in changing light, a baroque freshwater pearl, ocean jasper, and teal mixed fiber embroidery. Gold bugle bead borders throughout. A brass hand charm drops from the base.

Labradorite is known for its extraordinary flash — no two views of this stone are the same. Neither is any De Petra piece.
